I just got mine in the mail yesterday, and I read the first chapter before coming into the office this morning. His writing is so engaging and powerful and raw and challenging. I'm wishing I'd brought it to work with me.

I read Blue Like Jazz for a Missions Class and I absolutely loved it. I like his approach to reaching out to people. It really stretched me out of my comfort zone and challenged me to reach people where they are instead of where I am or want to be.
